Objectives of the Course

Networking is simple but not easy!

Successful entrepreneurs, business owners, managers and leaders spend more than 70% of their valuable time networking. It is a competency they have developed and one essential for their success. You too can develop the competency of networking to assist you in your success both professionally and personally.

The course

During this programme of learning you will learn tips and guidelines which will assist you in making networking one of your core competencies.

  • Keeping – ensuring those who are in your network are kept close
 which are a focus throughout the seven chapters 

Chapter Overview

Below is an overview on the chapters in this program. We will spend some time on each chapter.
  • Chapter 1 – Why Networking – The importance of networking fundamentals as the core of success in business leadership combined with lead generation allied with commercial and personal success
  • Chapter 2 - Adapting and Connecting – How to make the most from relationships for networking success from developing rapport to developing empathy and cultivating an ethos of trust.
  • Chapter 3 - Working the Room – Ways to break into and out of groups to get the most from large strategic events.
  • Chapter 4 - Nurturing – Where to Connect – Where to meet and connect with our target audience
  • Chapter 5 - One Minute Pitch – Know how to make your influencing one minute elevator pitch
  • Chapter 6 - Getting a return on your investment – How to get the return to make your investment of time and subscriptions worthwhile including the development of your networking and referral plan.
  • Chapter 7 - Networking is fun – Safe Cross Code to networking Developing your networking plan and have a networking best practise code of networking.

Throughout this learning experience you will be assisted to develop your networking skills that when deployed will make a measurable return on your profitability.

The aim of education is now knowledge but ACTION.

It is fruitless learning a skill or a competency and not putting it into action. By putting all our learning into action we will then reap the rewards both financially and professionally.
